“This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

I am here to encourage you. To remind you that seeing another day was a gift. You did not have to wake up today. Remember, some people did not wake up -you did. This is a revelation of the love of God for you. As small as it may appear- if we did not have the breath of life- our worries would serve no purpose. The truth is worry does not solve any problems. It is essentially a distraction that prevents you from seeing the bigger picture.

The bigger picture is the plans of God for your life. I’ve realized in my walk with the Lord- that life is not peaches and cream. I’ve yet to experience a windfall in the context of material blessings. However, I continue to trust in the Lord. I believe the Abrahamic blessing is not just spiritual but material.

“Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

We often hear Scripture over and over and over again- but we don’t see the manifestation of the Word. We begin to question God or ourselves as to what is going on. If you are like me- I’ve been walking with the Lord for about seven years. And while I don’t have some of the things I believe I should – does that make God less God? Does it mean I am not as faithful as I think?

Regardless- this piece is to encourage those who know their God…

“And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God].” Daniel 11:32

I can get on here and give you a long winded explanation about the “why your prayers are not being answered”. But who am I to define your prayer language? What piece do I have in your relationship with you and your Heavenly Father? Jesus made a way for us to commune directly with the Father. What and who can get in the way of that except ignorance?

I am encouraging you as someone who is believing God for some major promises. These visions and ideas came from God. They didn’t come from me. I could not conjure up such ideas. My point is if God brought it to you- He will bring it through you.

Here are some things I want you to consider that you may not have deemed a part of your process- or what is required for you to fulfill your promises from God. We often see the lives of people on social media- the end result. We don’t see the years of poverty stricken faith walk. Having the bare minimum. Sometimes homeless-multiple times. We don’t see the distressing situations they had to endure for years before a financial breakthrough. We don’t see the stripping of relationships and connections . We don’t see the sacrifices they had to make. We see the end result. We see the “beauty”.

I want you to put this in perspective. Consider your walk. What have you had to go through since your walk with the Lord. Did life become easier or harder. Either which way- would you go back to the life you had before the Lord set you free?….

So with all that you’ve gone through and still continue to expereince- somewhere within all of the “trials and tribulations” you know that if it were not for the strength and love of God- you would not have been able to make it. Yet still you press forward and you continue to cling to and trust in the One Who saved you and promises you a new life.

“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.” Jeremiah 29:11

That is the power of the Holy Spirit. He is the One keeping you. My prayer is that you ask God to empower you. Use your mouth to speak Scriupture. There are days you are so tired and so wary- but not enough for you to not speak a Word from God. Confess a promise out of your mouth that He gave. If you can speak for anything else- you can surely speak about the goodness of God and His promisess for your life.
